Past Cairns #3 :
Ch. DeRan Westminster Abbey R
"Abbey" Sex: Female DOB: 7/2/81
Sire: Ch. Copperglen's Sunstone
Dam: DeRan Murfe Lad's Ms Pipin R
Abbey was our second homebred Champion. We did have
a litter out of her by Ch. DeRan No Can Do, after which, she
was placed in a loving home. One of her puppies became
a foundation bitch for Linda Lawler's Wolfman Cairns.
DeRan Murfe Lad's Ms Pipin R
"Pipin" Sex: Female DOB:5/1/78
Sire: Ch. Brightridge DeRan Murfe Lad
Dam: Farus Farm Blenheims Bridget
Pipin was shown briefly and pointed. She was bred to Ch.
Copperglen's Sunstone which produced our second
homebred Ch. DeRan Westminster Abbey R, after which
she was placed in a loving home.
Ch. Brightridge DeRan Murfe Lad
"Murfe" Sex: Male DOB: 5/3/77
Sire Ch. Brightridge Benji
Dam: Ch. Brightridge Bonnie Lad's Caper
Murfe was the first dog we bought for show from Bernice
Fritz of Brightridge Cairns. He finished easily in spite of
us. After finishing him, we decided we wanted to pursue
other breeding lines and thus acquired our new
foundation bitch, Dorlyn's Easy Lovin' at 14 months from
Paul & Lynn Dorner - Dorlyn Cairns. Thanks to Murfe for
the experience and growth he provided two novices.
Farus Farm Blenheim's Bridget
"Bridget" Sex: Female DOB: 2/10/76
Sire: Ch. Alison Burr Kenkim Blenheim
Dam: Mandy Of Farus Farm
Deb has had Cairns since she was 12, Gidget, her first
passed away in 1975. Bridget was purchased as a pet in
1976. The breeder convinced us to show her. Bridget only
won 1 point, eventually she was bred to Ch. Brightridge
DeRan Murfe Lad. We kept a bitch, DeRan Murfe Lad's Ms
Pipin R who was bred to Ch. Copperglen's Sunstone
which produced our second homebred, Ch. DeRan
Westminster Abbey R. Bridget remained with us until she
passed away at 15.
"Eli" Sex: Male Handler: Randy
No this is not a white cairn, this is Eli, a Westie, that we
co-owed with dear friends Bob and Peg Kroeger.
Eli is shown winning WD - BOW for 3 pts. under Judge
Loraine Masley. Eli was Peg and Bob's first homebred
Champion. Bob passed away November 2006. He
was a great guy and is missed very much.
